Radiant Power is looking for a Quality Software Assurance team member to join our growing Quality team.
This position is located in Sarasota, FL and is full-time, Monday - Thursday.
This is not a work from home position.

'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or RefugeeThis role is responsible for monitoring software and systems engineering to ensure compliance to our plans and standards, performing audits to internal and external Software Quality Assurrance Plans and completing tasks necessary to maintain software quality control.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Review and evaluate software plans to assist program activities for processing software and materials into partially finished or finished products.
Collaborate with software engineering and systems engineering functions to ensure quality standards are in place and followed.
Audit software processes throughout the lifecycle process Perform conformity of test articles and equipment Witness verification testing of software and system products Participate in external software audits (Regulatory, Customer, etc.
) Conducts oversight auditing of software suppliers for conformance to process standards.
Supports improvement of software processes Supports AS9100/AS9115 audit activities, responds to identified non-conformances and provides corrective action Ensures that corrective actions meet acceptable quality standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Assists Quality Management in collecting and reporting metrics Supports the Program, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams with data analytics for improvement processes.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or 2-4 years of quality experience preferably in SQA.
Demonstrated experience in the collection of software data and metrics for reporting.
Demonstrated experience in process and product evaluation.
Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action methods.
Knowledge of DO-178B/C Working knowledge of complete software life cycle process Experience with Software Configuration Management Working knowledge of MS Office Suite Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Excellent analytical, attention to detail, time management, written, communication, and documentation skills.
Read/Write Fluently in English Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
Sustained dependable attendance.
Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
