Dental Care Alliance is currently seeking a Remote Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments for a subset of offices.
Appointment scheduling will be completed in a timely and professional manner via text, phone and/or e-mail.
Attention to detail, timeliness and professionalism are key aspects to this role.
Responsibilities:
Respond to all text messages in a timely manner via text, phone and/or e-mail.
This may include cancelling, rescheduling and/or scheduling appointments for patients.
Respond to all appointment requests to schedule or reschedule appointments for established, lapsed and new patients via text, phone and/or e-mail.
Schedule appointments following all processes and guidelines.
o This pertains to scheduling hygiene appointments or Dr.
treatment from the treatment plan.
o This includes following scheduling templating, entering correct information and/or updating old account information.
Document scheduled appointments using provided task forms.
Assist patients with questions regarding many various subjects.
o Distinguish between what we, as a department, can help the patient with and what may need to be addressed by the front desk.
Communicate with Supervisor when any questions or problem arise as well as when workload gets low.
Able and willing to assist co-workers.
Keep up to date with quarterly training in a timely manner.
Outbound Duties Make outbound phone calls to patients regarding scheduling unfinished items on treatment plan.
Call patients to reschedule any missed or cancelled appointments.
Schedule appointments following all processes and guidelines.
o This pertains to scheduling hygiene appointments or Dr.
treatment from the treatment plan.
o This includes following scheduling templating, entering correct information and/or updating old account information.
Assist patients with questions regarding many various subjects.
o Distinguish between what we, as a department, can help the patient with and what may need to be addressed by the front desk.
Document each phone call and result in the provided software.
Communicate with Supervisor when any questions or problems arise as well as when workload gets low.
Able and willing to assist co-workers.
Keep up to date with quarterly training in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
Strong attention to detail Ability to identify scheduling challenges, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions Dental Knowledge is a plus Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines Basic Excel skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
