Bonjour French caf, a charming French restaurant/ & cafe, that offers a multitude choice of bakeries and bistro dishes as well as traditional French meals such as beef burgundy, chicken Stew, etc. is looking for an experienced French Restaurant and Catering Chef with an extensive knowledge of French cuisine and traditional recipes. The Restaurant and Catering Chef will lead the operations related to food preparation for lunch, dinner and catering including set-up, service, and clean up. He/She will be in charge of stock management, training, and directing kitchen staff to ensure quality of food prepared and compliance with safety and sanitary practices.
Requirements:
Culinary certificate or degree;
Minimum of 5 years experience at a Chef level in a local French cuisine
restaurant;
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Catering Chef;
Extensive knowledge of French cuisine, traditional recipes and cooking standards;
Solid experience with kitchen management;
Ability to lead, guide and train employees, to multitask and to interact with all
categories of team members;
Must show a professional behavior with perfect cooking & service standards and
impeccable work practices;
Must have excellent verbal communication skills: bilingual French/English
preferred
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule.
